The fourth store of the popular “value-added” Laurens Cleaners family, this facility is the first unit to serve the Lake County area residents and businesses. Built from the foundation of the Libertyville Rent-All property at 185 Peterson Road, Libertyville, it a brilliant jewel in the crown of this affluent, upscale community.
Laurens Cleaners is a full service dry cleaner with a strong commitment to the environmentally responsible movement. Laurens uses all eco-friendly cleaning fluids and products, while actively recycling hangers and plastic. We offer FREE re-usable, natural garment bags for the safe and efficient protection of returning garments for those customers sensitive to the use of plastic poly bags. We offer FREE cardboard hanger caddies for easy organization and handling.
“Value-added” is not another discount dry cleaner gimmick! Granted, we have the most competitive pricing tables in the 6 county areas; however, Laurens does not cut corners to maintain their profit margins at lower prices. Rather, the finest, sometimes expensive, cleaning agents, spotting fluids, brighteners, sizing, water softeners, and textile supplements are used in producing a European standard of fabricare which cannot be surpassed. Personal valet service is a concept which I have developed in over thirty years of sales and service experience and expertise in my industry. Many value-added “extras” are provided at no additional charge. Buttons are replaced, whether they were missing when they arrived or not. Sometimes full sets are replaced if the matching button cannot be found or duplicated. Plastic “butterflies” are placed on the top button of dress shirts as “collar formers” to alleviate collars being crushed in transport or delivery. French cuffs are clipped in place ready to receive the cuff link while dressing. There is no extra charge for folding or boxing shirts as others often do. Laurens charges no delivery fees; neither do we build them into the prices like the other competitors in Cook and Lake counties. We do not charge environmental surcharges (at the bottoms of invoices) as “pass through costs” to our customers, to dispose of our spent filter cartridges and cleaning fluids.
